CTD3 is a tooth anatomy library prepared for use inside exocad DentalCAD. It contains a complete set of upper and lower tooth shapes that the designer can place on the prepared model as a starting morphology. During the standard crown, bridge or full-anatomy workflow the shapes are scaled, rotated and morphed onto the preparation, then refined with the usual free-forming tools.

The geometry has clear cusp tips and marginal ridges, which helps to keep occlusal contacts predictable after adaptation. CTD3 suits technicians who prefer a neutral, balanced morphology rather than a strongly characterised one. It is available for download and can be combined with other anatomy sets already present in the system.
