Library formats and how to unzip them

Most libraries are distributed as a .zip archive. Inside is a folder with the library files for a specific program (exocad exoplan, RealGUIDE) and brand line.

How to unzip

Windows: built-in “Extract All”, or 7-Zip / WinRAR.

macOS: double-clicking the .zip extracts it automatically.

Do not rename folders inside the archive — the structure matters for the program to recognize the library.

Where to put it

Place the unzipped library folder into the library directory of the relevant program (see the exoplan and RealGUIDE guides). A program restart is then required.
