Thommen VARIOmulti Gen1 multiunit is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD that describes the first-generation Multi-Unit (MU) component of the Thommen VARIOmulti system. The set allows the CAD designer to start a screw-retained case directly on the multi-unit interface, with the correct mating geometry and screw channel orientation.

It is intended for full-arch bridges, segmented bridges and bar-supported prostheses where Gen1 multi-units have been placed. Working on the MU level simplifies passive fit and screw access compared with working at implant level. The library suits laboratories that have legacy Thommen Gen1 cases in their routine.

It can be downloaded and used alongside other Thommen components in DentalCAD. Designs produced with it are ready for milling or printing in standard CAM workflows.
