Straumann Variobase-XC local-milling provides exocad DentalCAD with the standard Variobase-XC geometry ready for in-house milling. The library is chosen during the implant step in DentalCAD, so the software anchors the design to the correct Variobase-XC seating and emergence profile.
From there the technician can shape single crowns or small bridges over the interface using the normal modelling tools. It targets laboratories that mill Variobase-XC restorations themselves rather than relying on centralized production. The workflow remains fully digital from scan to CAM. The library can be downloaded for use in the lab.
