Straumann Variobase Abutment ELOS inhouse brings the Variobase abutment in the ELOS in-house milling configuration into exocad DentalCAD. The included abutment component carries the seating geometry that DentalCAD uses to anchor the restoration on the Variobase interface when the blank is processed through the ELOS chain.
During design the technician selects the library in the implant step and models the crown or small bridge over the abutment with the usual tools. It is aimed at labs that mill these Variobase abutments themselves on ELOS-compatible equipment. The workflow stays inside the lab from scan to CAM. The library is available for download.
