This library makes the Straumann IS Hybrid Straumann-BLX interface available inside exocad DentalCAD. It is intended for cases where a Straumann IS prosthetic part is combined with a Straumann BLX implant and the corresponding geometry has to be reproduced digitally.
Once selected in the implant step of DentalCAD, the geometry defines the seating surface so that crowns, bridges or custom superstructures can be designed in correct relation to the implant axis. The hybrid character is preserved, which is important when planning cement- or screw-retained restorations on BLX implants.
The library suits laboratories that work with Straumann components but need flexibility between the IS and BLX systems. It can be downloaded from the catalogue and used directly in the exocad implant workflow.
