PDL CatBack1 6.0 is a tooth anatomy library created by PDL for use inside exocad DentalCAD. It is the first variant in the CatBack1 series and offers a defined occlusal scheme with pronounced cusps and clear functional ridges. In the exocad workflow the technician selects these morphologies from the tooth library list and applies them to crowns, bridges or screw-retained full-arch designs as a starting shape.
The reference geometry can then be adapted with the free-form, morphing and smoothing tools to match the patient situation. The library is well suited to technicians who want a recognizable CatBack character on posterior units while keeping control over final anatomy. It can be downloaded from the catalog and used directly in DentalCAD projects.
