PDL PDL CatBack1 5.1

PDL CatBack1 5.1 is a tooth anatomy library by PDL prepared for exocad DentalCAD. It continues the 5.x branch of the CatBack1 series with small corrections to ridge geometry and occlusal contact zones. Inside exocad the morphology is selected as the reference tooth and is then automatically adapted to the antagonist and neighbouring teeth before the technician applies free-form touches.

Anterior shapes keep a natural incisal edge while posterior teeth offer a balanced, easy-to-mill occlusal surface. It is a practical option for everyday crown, bridge and full-contour zirconia or PMMA work. The library can be downloaded and added alongside other tooth libraries in DentalCAD.
