PDL CatBack1 2.1 is a tooth anatomy library prepared by PDL for use inside exocad DentalCAD. The set offers a coherent group of tooth shapes that the designer can pick as the starting morphology during a crown, bridge or full-anatomy job. Within the standard exocad workflow the chosen tooth is positioned on the preparation, scaled and adapted to the antagonist and neighbours, which shortens manual sculpting time.
The forms are tuned for predictable occlusal contacts and natural cusp/fissure relations, so milled or printed results need less post-processing. It suits technicians who want a recognisable PDL style as an alternative to the default exocad teeth. The library can be downloaded and added to the user's anatomy collection for everyday production.
