PDL CatBack1 1.4 is a tooth anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD and the most recent revision of the PDL CatBack1 series. The 1.4 update keeps the recognisable CatBack1 character while fine-tuning cusp geometry, marginal ridges and overall proportions for a more predictable starting shape.

Inside DentalCAD it is picked from the Tooth Database and then adapted to the patient situation with the standard free-forming tools, before being used for crowns, bridges or full-contour designs. The library is suitable for monolithic zirconia, lithium disilicate and PMMA restorations and for anatomical reduction workflows.

It can be downloaded and added to DentalCAD as an additional anatomical option. It is a sensible choice for technicians who want the newest iteration of the CatBack1 morphology in their daily work.
