PDL CatBack1 1.1 is an incremental update to the stable CatBack1 anatomy line that PDL provides for exocad DentalCAD. It keeps the overall character established in 1.0 while refining the tooth shapes that DentalCAD uses as the starting morphology for crowns, bridge pontics and full-anatomy units.
In the typical workflow the technician selects CatBack1 1.1 in the anatomy menu, accepts or adjusts the automatic proposal, and then fine-tunes occlusion, marginal ridges and surface texture. The 1.1 revision is well suited to laboratories that already work with the CatBack1 family and want a slightly refreshed take without changing their visual style.
It performs reliably on both single-unit and multi-unit cases. The library is available to download. It can be combined with other PDL morphologies to give designers a wider palette of tooth characters.
