zfx is an anatomy set for exocad DentalCAD containing reference tooth morphologies covering the full arch. The shapes are designed to look balanced from anterior incisors through to molars, giving the technician a coherent starting point for restorations of any length.
In the DentalCAD workflow zfx is loaded as the anatomy source, after which the proposed tooth is adapted to the preparation, antagonist and adjacent teeth using free-forming and morphing tools. Because the morphology is fairly neutral in character, it works well as a general-purpose library for daily lab production.
It suits both single crowns and multi-unit bridges, and can be combined with library-based smile design for anterior cases. The set is offered for download and can be added alongside other anatomy collections in DentalCAD.
