FOBOS FOBOS-Amalthea

FOBOS-Amalthea is an anatomy library created by FOBOS for use inside exocad DentalCAD. It contains a coordinated set of tooth shapes that can be selected as the starting morphology when the CAD module proposes a restoration. During design the technician can use these forms for single crowns, multi-unit bridges and full-contour monolithic work, then refine cusps, ridges and fissures with the standard sculpting tools.

The character of Amalthea leans toward a calm, naturally shaped occlusal surface that integrates well with surrounding dentition. It is a useful option for labs that want an alternative anatomical character alongside the default exocad shapes. The library can be downloaded and is suitable for both routine cases and more aesthetic restorations.
