Expression D3 is an anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD belonging to the Expression family of tooth morphologies. Its purpose is to give the CAD designer a defined occlusal and contour reference that DentalCAD applies when generating full-anatomy crowns, bridges, inlays and screw-retained restorations.
In the standard workflow the D3 set is selected as the tooth library inside a job definition, after which proposals reflect its cusp pattern, marginal ridges and fissure design. The D3 character within the Expression range gives the technician an alternative aesthetic to combine with patient cases that require a specific morphological style.
It is suitable for both single-unit anterior or posterior restorations and larger reconstructive work where consistent anatomy across the arch matters. The library is available to download and integrate into the DentalCAD environment.
