DTLab.1 is a tooth anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD that extends the technician's collection of reference morphologies. During the design phase the chosen tooth from DTLab.1 is dropped onto the preparation and then matched to the case through scaling, rotation and free-form sculpting against the antagonist.
The library is suited to single crowns, bridge pontics and full-contour monolithic restorations where a consistent anatomical character across the arch is wanted. Because the set offers a different look from the default exocad anatomies, the designer can switch between styles depending on the patient's existing teeth and the laboratory's aesthetic preferences.
The library is available for download and lives alongside other anatomy collections in DentalCAD. It is a useful addition for laboratories that handle a wide range of cases and want more variety in their reference shapes.
