Osstem/Hiossen TS DR Minus40 completes the angled TS DR offsets shown here for the Osstem/Hiossen system, packaged as an implant library for exocad DentalCAD. The -40 designation indicates the strongest angulation correction in this group, useful in clinical situations such as All-on-4 style cases where implants are deliberately tilted to bypass anatomical obstacles.
Inside the exocad implant module the library is chosen as the implant system, after which the geometry guides the design of crowns, bridges and other implant-supported restorations along the corrected prosthetic axis. The reference dimensions follow the manufacturer's data so that the digital project corresponds to the physical components used by the laboratory.
The library can be downloaded and used in the regular exocad workflow, and is aimed at dental technicians and CAD designers who routinely plan strongly angled Osstem/Hiossen restorations.
