Neodent Abutment Level inhouse is built for laboratories that mill Neodent restorations on their own equipment and operate at the abutment level. Within exocad DentalCAD it provides the abutment geometries needed to define the prosthetic platform on which the crown or bridge will be designed.
The CAD designer works with restorations seated over Neodent abutments, ensuring correct margins, axial walls and occlusal contacts. The library can be downloaded and is suitable for both single units and small bridges supported by Neodent abutments.
It is particularly useful for in-house workflows where milling parameters are tuned locally to match the chosen materials. Technicians experienced with Neodent components will recognise the standard abutment-level approach. Overall it helps maintain a controlled, self-sufficient digital chain for Neodent abutment-supported work.
