Megagen AY Ext R Cust Abt 9mm is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD describing the customizable abutment blank for the AY Ext R external connection at a 9 mm post height. The shorter 9 mm variant is intended for cases with limited interocclusal space where the 13 mm blank would be too tall.
After importing the scan and aligning the implant position, the technician selects this library and shapes the emergence, finish line and axis while the AY Ext R seating geometry is preserved. The output is an STL ready for CAM milling of an individual titanium abutment.
