Dentsply Sirona TempAbutment EV is a focused CAD library that brings the EV temporary abutment into the exocad DentalCAD implant environment. It is used when planning a provisional crown or bridge that will be cement- or screw-retained on this temporary component, giving the case an accurate digital twin of the abutment geometry.
Within the DentalCAD workflow the abutment is selected during implant configuration, after which the tooth modelling tools snap to its emergence and screw channel. The library suits laboratories that deliver immediate-load or interim restorations on Astra Tech EV implants.
