BioHorizons PEEK Temp Vulcan is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD that adds a temporary component for BioHorizons PEEK temporary abutments with an engaging, anti-rotational interface. In the exocad workflow this geometry is selected when modelling a single-unit provisional crown, since the hexed connection locks the restoration rotationally to the implant.
It can be used for immediate or staged provisionalisation where a polishable PEEK substructure is required as the basis for a screw-retained temporary crown. The library complements the non-hexed variant of the same temporary range, which is intended for multi-unit work.
It can be downloaded and used directly in DentalCAD. It is aimed at CAD designers and dental technicians producing temporary restorations on BioHorizons implants.
