vita1 is a tooth anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD that bundles a complete set of teeth in the visual tradition associated with VITA prosthetic moulds. During CAD design the library is chosen as the reference anatomy, and the proposed crowns, pontics or full-arch restorations inherit its cusp arrangement and outline.
From there the technician refines the result with morphing, scaling and free-forming so the geometry fits the antagonist contacts and the surrounding dentition. The consistent style across all positions makes vita1 a practical option for multi-unit cases where a uniform smile design is important.
It is available for download and is read as a standard anatomy source by DentalCAD. The library is well suited to technicians who already favour a VITA-style appearance in fixed prosthetics.
