DTLab.3 is a tooth anatomy library aimed at exocad DentalCAD users. It includes a set of reference tooth shapes that can be brought into the modelling scene as a starting morphology. From there the designer scales, rotates and locally deforms the proposal to match the prepared tooth, the antagonist and the adjacent dentition.
The library covers daily restorative work such as single crowns, small bridges and monolithic full-anatomy units. Because the anatomy is supplied as a coherent set, it is easier to keep a uniform style across all restorations in one job. It is suitable for technicians who want to extend the choice of anatomies available inside exocad. DTLab.3 is available for download.
