AIDA-Air is an author tooth anatomy library by AIDA created for exocad DentalCAD as a lighter counterpart to the classic AIDA set. The morphology keeps the recognisable AIDA proportions but uses smoother fissures, calmer cusp tips and a more airy surface texture, which reads as discreet and natural on the finished restoration.
In the exocad workflow it is selected as the tooth database when designing single crowns, bridges or full-arch monolithic work, and pairs especially well with cases where the technician wants less pronounced relief after polishing or staining. Designers can still sharpen the anatomy locally with the morphing tools where more character is needed.
It suits users who already like the AIDA style but want a gentler default. The library can be downloaded and used as an additional anatomy option in DentalCAD.
