PDL CatBack1 4.2 is a tooth anatomy library authored by PDL for use inside exocad DentalCAD. It provides a complete set of tooth shapes that the technician can load as the base morphology when starting a crown, bridge or full-anatomy restoration.
Version 4.2 belongs to the original CatBack1 generation, with characteristic ridge flow and a moderate occlusal table. During design the morphology is adapted to the antagonist and to the surrounding teeth using standard exocad tools such as free-forming and bite adjustment.
It suits technicians who prefer a natural, slightly conservative posterior shape as a starting point. The library can be downloaded and added to the DentalCAD tooth library collection.
