Grin Design KS is one of the stylistic variants in the Grin anatomy series for exocad DentalCAD and is used as a reference shape library when designing crowns, bridges and full-contour restorations. The KS morphology shows pronounced cusp tips, defined fossae and a slightly younger tooth character, which helps when the case demands a vivid occlusal landscape rather than a flat surface.

Inside the exocad design wizard it is set as the active library, after which teeth are placed and refined with morphing, scaling and free-form tools. It pairs well with anterior cases where natural mamelons and incisal edges are needed, and with posterior monolithic crowns that should not look over-smoothed.

The set works for zirconia, lithium disilicate and PMMA temporaries alike. The library is available to download and integrate into DentalCAD. It suits technicians who prefer to start from an expressive base and tone it down rather than build up character on a neutral tooth.
