Straumann Variobase Bar Bridge local milling is an exocad DentalCAD library tailored to bar workflows on the Straumann Variobase Bar Bridge interface. It includes bar geometries that align precisely with the corresponding titanium bases, so the designer can model substructures for multi-unit implant cases.
In DentalCAD the bar geometries are selected during project setup, after which the bar module is used to shape the connector profile, attachments and screw access. The library is available for download and is intended for laboratories milling Variobase bar restorations on their own CAM equipment.
It is most relevant to technicians producing implant-supported bars and hybrid prostheses where the Variobase Bar Bridge interface is prescribed. Suitable for both partially and fully edentulous indications planned around Variobase components.
