Cowellmedi Sub RN MU Ti 45 is an exocad DentalCAD library that describes a 45° angulated Multi-Unit (MU) titanium interface on the Cowellmedi Submerged Regular Narrow platform. The Multi-Unit (MU) component is loaded during implant selection in the exocad workflow, after which the design is built on top of the MU rather than directly on the implant.
Because the geometry corresponds to a 45° angulated abutment, it is appropriate for cases where considerable axis correction is required between the implant and the planned prosthesis. Typical indications include screw-retained bridges, bars and full-arch frameworks on Cowellmedi implants.
The library is openly available and can be downloaded for inclusion in the laboratory's exocad component catalogue. It is most useful for technicians regularly engaged in complex implant-supported prosthetic work on the Cowellmedi system.
