Shmatkov Shmatkov (class 2)

Shmatkov (class 2) is a tooth anatomy library authored by Shmatkov for exocad DentalCAD, focused on a class 2 morphological scheme. It supplies a coherent set of tooth shapes intended as a starting morphology when designing crowns, bridges and full-anatomy restorations.

Within the DentalCAD workflow the proposal is placed on the prepared tooth and adapted to the antagonist, neighbouring teeth and case-specific occlusion. The class 2 character is helpful in cases where the existing or planned occlusal relationship requires a corresponding cuspal pattern.

The library can be downloaded and applied directly in routine modelling. It is intended for technicians who like working with explicitly classified, author-driven anatomy sets. Shmatkov (class 2) is equally suitable for single posterior crowns and for larger multi-unit reconstructions that need a unified occlusal concept.
