PDL CatBack1 5.3 is a tooth anatomy library by PDL for exocad DentalCAD. This release stays inside the 5.x CatBack1 branch and brings small geometry tweaks aimed at smoother morphing and more stable contact points. In the exocad workflow the morphology is chosen as the reference tooth at the start of a crown, bridge or full-anatomy job and is then adapted to the case automatically before manual refinement.
The CatBack1 character — natural fissure pattern and well-defined marginal ridges — remains intact. It is well suited to technicians who have already adopted earlier 5.x versions and want a consistent in-house style. The library can be downloaded and registered in DentalCAD next to other tooth libraries.
