Straumann Variobase-XC ASC local-milling is a dedicated implant library for exocad DentalCAD focused on the Variobase-XC platform with the angulated screw channel option. It is intended for laboratories that mill restorations on the Variobase-XC ASC geometry in-house.
Inside DentalCAD the library is selected in the implant step, after which the software references the correct emergence and screw access angulation for the design. From there the technician shapes the restoration as usual and exports it to CAM.
The library suits both cement- or screw-retained single units where ASC flexibility is needed to redirect the access hole. It can be downloaded for use in production.
