rooted is a tooth anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD, built around morphologies that retain the root portion in addition to the clinical crown. In the DentalCAD workflow the set is selected as the reference anatomy and then adapted to the prepared situation using the standard morphing and free-forming tools.
Because the shapes carry the root, they are well suited to immediate restorations, ovate pontics, custom healing abutments and any case where the emergence profile must be reconstructed from the alveolus upward. The teeth can also be used as conventional crown references when only the coronal part is needed.
It is available for download and integrates with the regular anatomy picker. The library suits technicians who frequently design implant-supported temporaries or anatomically driven gingival contours.
