DEMI is a tooth anatomy library intended for use inside exocad DentalCAD. It collects a coherent set of tooth morphologies that the designer can pick as a starting shape when modelling single crowns, bridge pontics or full-anatomy restorations.
During the CAD step DEMI teeth are loaded through the standard tooth library selector and then adapted to the patient situation using the usual free-form and morphing tools. The shapes follow a consistent visual language, which helps keep occlusal tables and proximal contacts predictable across a quadrant.
DEMI suits technicians who want an additional morphology set alongside the libraries shipped with DentalCAD. It can be downloaded from the catalog and used in everyday prosthetic work.
