Other Dem

Dem is a tooth anatomy library compatible with exocad DentalCAD that offers a complete arch of crown shapes for restorative work. In the workflow the technician chooses Dem from the tooth library dropdown, lets DentalCAD propose initial morphology, and then fine-tunes contacts, occlusion and surface detail.

The shapes follow consistent proportions across anterior and posterior teeth, which helps maintain a recognisable laboratory style across cases. It is suited to crown and bridge work on natural teeth as well as full-contour monolithic restorations milled in zirconia or lithium disilicate.

Adding Dem next to other anatomy libraries gives the designer a stylistic alternative to switch to when the antagonist or patient profile asks for a different look. The library can be downloaded and used inside DentalCAD.
