Other Defiant

Defiant is a tooth anatomy library prepared for use in exocad DentalCAD that offers a more characterful crown shape than a neutral default set. In the design step the proposals are selected from the tooth library list, projected onto the preparation and then refined with free-forming, occlusal alignment and contact tools.

The morphology emphasises clear cusp structure and surface relief, which is useful when monolithic restorations need to read well without extensive manual staining and texturing. Typical use cases include posterior crowns, full-arch monolithic work and bridges where a unified, expressive style is required.
