Other Buran

Buran is an anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD that supplies a coherent set of tooth morphologies for use as a reference shape in the design process. The teeth carry a recognisable character with clearly defined cusps, ridges and grooves, which gives a lively occlusal surface on monolithic restorations.

In the standard exocad workflow the library is selected at the tooth-shape step, after which crowns, bridges and full-arch restorations inherit its morphology before being adapted to the case. The expressive surface texture reduces the need for manual sculpting and shortens design time.
