BioHorizons fixation

Surgical guide library for exocad exoplan compatible with the BioHorizons Fixation system. The library enables virtual planning and design of computer-guided surgical templates stabilized by BioHorizons fixation pins inserted through the guide into bone. BioHorizons is a US-based dental implant manufacturer (acquired by Zimmer Biomet Dental) known for its internal hex connection implants featuring proprietary Laser-Lok surface technology, which supports soft-tissue attachment and bone-to-implant interface stability at the collar. The Fixation line specifically addresses edentulous cases where primary guide stability is critical for accurate implant placement. The library integrates into exoplan as a guide-design module, allowing the clinician to position fixation pins, verify drill trajectories, and coordinate the treatment plan with the dental technician.
